COMRAD SMS
The COMRAD SMS service can be configured to send automated text 'appointment reminders' to patients and automated 'report alerts' to referrers. Users are also able to send 'ad hoc' manual text messages to anyone at any time.
COMRAD VRC
The COMRAD Virtual Reporting Centre offers flexible workflow options that allow you to provide an efficient and cost effective reporting service to many imaging centres regardless of their throughput, location or infrastructure.
COMRAD Electronic Billing
The COMRAD RIS electronic claim and payment systems to Medicare, ACC, Health Providers and Health Insurers are supported in their respective markets helping you to improve your cashflow and reduce debtor management.
COMRAD Replication Solution
The COMRAD Replication Solution forms part of your disaster recovery solution, and complements your existing backup services by providing near real-time copies of data and transactions (sites, staff, patients etc) to a secondary system. It also provides the ability to fail-over COMRAD and its services to this secondary system in the event of an outage.
webCOMRAD
WebCOMRAD provides secure web based access to patient information for referrers and specialists. Different levels data access can be configured to match individual user needs. Access by referrer 'groups' can be configured as well. WebCOMRAD provides access to your patients' reports, including access to scanned documents, clinical history, examination images, and review of upcoming appointments and referrals.
Voice Recognition
The COMRAD RIS is seamlessly integrated with Nuance's PowerScribe software for radiology reporting and transcription with voice recognition (VR). Logging into the COMRAD RIS will automatically log you into PowerScribe. Along with the advantage of reduced turnaround report time, the COMRAD RIS user can benefit by still being able to 'ad hoc' choose to use COMRAD's Digital Dictation (sending to a typist) or type their own report.
PACS
COMRAD is the authorised sales and service agent for Merge Healthcare's Cedara OEM Applications. COMRAD has integrated Merge OEM PACS and Viewing Workstation software into its COMRAD RIS product to provide a complete RIS/PACS solution. In this configuration the COMRAD RIS provides a complete RIS drives PACS work-flow.
COMRAD also integrates with several other vendor PACS Systems.
Film Digitising Solution
COMRAD is the authorised sales and service agent for VIDAR medical film digitisers and digitising software. This system allows conversion of hard copy film to DICOM digital images. The digitiser model and software version you require will depend on whether you need to digitise your non-mammography film, mammography film, or a combination of both.
CD/DVD Publishing Solution
COMRAD recommends the PacsCube Solution for burning your patient images to CD or DVD. This centralised system is based on the PacsCube Burn and Print software from DatCard, and includes an HP workstation, the PacsCube software and a RIMAGE 2000i desktop CD/DVD burner. A DICOM image viewer such as eFilmLite is also burnt onto the CD/DVD offering easy and efficient viewing of the images for patient or referrer.
