MDI Radiology, Melbourne, goes ‘live’ with COMRAD
MDI Radiology is a specialist radiologist owned and directed medical imaging company, with 11 convenient imaging centres throughout the metropolitan area in Melbourne, Australia.
MDI provides the following services: Ultrasound, X-RAY, Dental, CT, DEXA, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Mammogram, and Cardiac Imaging.
In March 2012, MDI went ‘live’ with the COMRAD RIS, moving from a ‘PACS-drives-RIS’ to a ‘RIS-drives-PACS’ environment in which COMRAD is integrated with their Agfa IMPAX PACS.
MDI’s new COMRAD RIS integrated system will assist them to meet their mission which is ‘to provide the highest quality medical imaging services possible’.

GIG Radiology is a premium diagnostic imaging company servicing the needs of referring doctors in the south east region of Melbourne in Victoria, Australia. GIG Radiology provides a customer focused service, with guaranteed 24 hour reporting for its referring doctors.

Ballarat Health Services goes 'live' with COMRAD's RIS
Ballarat Health Services (BHS) recently went ‘live’ with COMRAD RIS in their Radiology Department in the Base Hospital. BHS is the largest regional hospital in the Grampians region (Victoria, Australia), and as such, is the principal referral hospital for the entire region, which extends from Bacchus Marsh to the South Australian border, an area of 48,000 square km. The BHS Radiology Department conducts more than 80,000 examinations per year and offers “state-of-the-art” low radiation dose digital technologies.

Global Diagnostics in Western Australia recently went 'live’ with the COMRAD RIS. Global Diagnostics started over 15 years ago as Imaging The South in Western Australia, and is now based in The UK, Ireland and Australia providing radiology reporting and consultancy services to patients, referrers and healthcare partners.
