WebCOMRAD is about putting the right information, in a timely manner, into the hands of those who provide the primary patient treatment. WebCOMRAD provides secure web based access for referrers and specialists, allowing them to review their patient’s medical imaging results. Features include:

• Referrer centric view of a patient’s electronic record via secure Internet access using standard web browser software such as MS Internet Explorer
• Entry of electronic referrals for radiology examinations which can be placed on a waitlist for appointment creation
• Review of the status of their patient referrals, current appointments or appointment history
• Real time status of a patient’s examination while they are attending the practice or department
• Provides access to their patient’s reports including the radiologist’s voice dictation file, scanned documents, clinical history and examination images.
• Access to patient data is restricted by the system to only those referrers a patient has nominated to receive a copy of the report.
